LET’S TALK ALOE

Aloe ferox, commonly known as the bitter or Cape Aloe, is indigenous to Southern Africa. It is different from Aloe vera, containing 28% more aloin (the yellow-brown sap inside the aloe leaf) and 36% more amino acids (the building blocks of proteins). Aloe ferox is a succulent that is astoundingly useful, with many medicinal and healing properties. Only the bottom leaves are harvested each year, making it perfectly sustainable. Every part of the leaves is used – nothing is wasted or thrown away. The company, Aloe Ferox ®, located in Albertinia (Western Cape), pioneered and developed the process of freshly pressing the aloe juice, with no heating or freezing. This guarantees that no vitamins or nutrients are lost.  The aloe leaf consists of three components, each of which has various medicinal and beneficial properties: In short, Cape aloe is the perfect  combination of natural beauty and practical usefulness. A true South African treasure!

  • The bitter sap (indicated by the gold droplet icon on the products containing it) flows spontaneously from the freshly cut leaves. It has natural antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties. It fights infection, boosts the immune system and reduces muscle ache, pain and swelling. It assists in healing and prevents scarring from burns, scrapes, blisters, acne and sunburn. It also helps the liver in eliminating toxins and prevents constipation.
  • The translucent inner fillet of the leaf (indicated by the white droplet) is packed with amino acids, vitamins and minerals. It shares the anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties of the bitter sap, speeding up the healing process. Additionally, it assists in skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing – penetrating all seven skin layers, increasing cell regeneration and blood flow, moisturizing the skin, enhancing the penetration of active ingredients and preventing moisture loss.
  • The green outer peel of the leaf (indicated by the green droplet) offers the same variety of health and beauty benefits as the inner fillet. Moreover, it aids in stabilizing blood sugar levels, reduces cholesterol and high blood pressure, and boosts the immune system by increasing white blood cell production.

  1. Hi

Can people with Rosacea use this product seeing that there is ingredients like alcohol, different acids and parfum in that dries out the skin more and causes more redness.
